A MELTING OF ELEMENTS SHAPING OUR FUTURE
IVV, Industria Vetraria Valdarnese, was founded in 1952 by a group of master glassmakers in San Giovanni Valdarno, the very heart of Tuscany. Over the years, IVV grew to become one of Europe’s main producers of blown glass and handmade glass by bringing together research on materials, design, traditional artisanal techniques and process controls to create objects that constantly change and renovate rooms and the dinner table.
IVV collection includes the products that express the most decorative vein of IVV, plates, glasses and furnishing accessories characterized by a way of manufacturing the glass with, more or less marked but always present, textures (patterned, slumped), with the frequent addition of decorations given in a second step manufacturing phase, to offer products that stand out with character. Both the glass, blown or pressed, and the decorations are the expression of the most authentic being made in Italy of IVV, of a craftsmanship that does not find comparisons in the rest of the world, and proof of it is that those who have tried to imitate its products, never managed to achieve its quality.
