KE Badkvinna glass sculpture, from Kosta Boda, is a wonderful, colourful decorative piece in the shape of a joyful feminine figure in a bathing costume. The sculpture has been mouth-blown with care. The designer behind the sculpture, world famous glass artist Kjell Engman, was inspired by his travels when he saw a performance by a gospel choir. One of the women in the choir grabbed hold of the designer and invited him to dance, and he was impressed and inspired by her flexibility and mobility – something which we can see in these Badlycka sculptures.
